timeline
a draft of keito and en's shared lore. once again, i try to keep everything in line with the canon enstarsverse stories, but i may deviate if necessary. nothing is absolute, as things may change the more i think about these two ^^ gaps in lore and little kinks will be edited with time as well.more text shows up as you scroll. at the very bottom you have the option to go back to the general info page or navigate with the icons to your page of choice.long blurbs of text ahead!

yumenosaki private academy
first year
• keito and en are in the same homeroom, officially interacting after a library council meeting.
• they're both a part of archery club. first year team is eligible to compete in a prefectural tournament— they are in the starting line-up.
• en and keito are general student council members at this time.
• their friend groups merge to some extent, but they aren't yet close until their winter term.

second year
• once again in the same homeroom, they are much closer and interact as friends.
• en's romantic feelings towards keito begins to bloom.

crossroads
• en's supportive of DEADMANZ as a whole, growing rather attached to everyone in the group. he doesn't play much significance in the whole act, just supporting them behind the scenes. his interactions with rei and kuro start from this moment on.
• following the disbandment of deadmanz, kuro and en grow closer. en begins to lean on kuro for support, and kuro looks to en for advice from time to time. kuro plays a significant role in en's transition and gender discovery.

confession
• by some chance in the winter, en finds himself huddled rather closely with keito on their way home. keito proposes they study at his home today, en being invited for dinner as well by keito's mother (who's taken quite a liking to en).
• it's on their way up the stairs to the hasumi temple that en suddenly blurts out his feelings, bringing up the hypothetical idea of dating. keito's rejection follows almost immediately, but en had already prepared himself for such an outcome.
• the subject is entirely dropped— their relationship does not change beyond just being friends, though en's feelings do not dissipate.

the war
• keito's attitudes towards en change, and while en initially anticipated it due to his sudden confession earlier on, he later finds out that it's minimally related.
• en's pushed away with little to no remorse— at least that's what he interprets keito's actions as. his mental health deteriorates as a result, having grown attached to his friend, a sudden separation doesn't sit well with him especially with his pre-existing issues with attachment and abandonment.
• en stays persistent in staying by keito's side to support him, but eventually he relents and obeys, distancing himself from keito.

retreat
• various circumstances lead to en's transfer into the producer stream. his spark to work as an idol begins to fizzle out, but his desires to support those with that passion does not. after speaking intensively with akiomi-sensei, he receives approval for his transfer.

yumenosaki private academy
third year
• initially it is thought that en's graduation would be delayed due to the difference in credit requirements between the idol and producer stream— thankfully en's grades being in the top 10 of his year allows him to stay on track with his graduations.
• en and keito do not interact frequently in their third year, busy with their own preparations in their respective programs.
• en takes university into consideration, akiomi-sensei providing consultation for this as en's grades have reflected strong academic potential. en prepares to take the entrance exams but ultimately sticks with production work after receiving an internship offer under rhythm link.

fresh blood
• also intending to join rhythm link, rei approaches en after learning that he's joining in as well. he extends an offer to him— a contract position as a primary producer for UNDEAD. after some convincing from rei (and some help from koga and adonis too), en accepts. rei offers additional incentive with becoming a sponsor for en's own idol passions, having witnessed first hand the talents that en holds.

following graduation: rhythm link
• en works as a general staff under rhythm link, but puts more time towards his contractual position as UNDEAD's manager. he stays in the background, letting rei represent him where possible while he does the work behind the scenes.
• rei, kuro, and souma slowly try to open up to en about keito, wanting to mend some of their relationship where possible. particularly in the case of kuro, as he knows full well how en feels about keito, he thinks en deserves to know what keito's real intentions were prior to their split as friends.
• in private, en becomes a big fan of AKATSUKI, choosing to oshi kuro in name— ' wants to support his bro', is what he would say when prompted about it. in truth, his eyes and heart still stay with keito, not that he'll admit that out loud.

a helping hand, road to opportunity
• AKATSUKI's producer receives an opportunity in a different location, and desperately needs to find someone to take their position and help support the rising group. after some thorough research, he comes across en's channel, where he shares various song projects and covers that match incredibly well with the general theme AKATSUKI embodies. after discussing with the three members, he extends an offer to en. en, however, remains on the fence about this, not wanting to cross paths with keito.
• keito steps up, setting out the offer once again. rei also backs him up, giving en a little push as well.
"AKATSUKI needs you, nomura."

new lenses
• not much changes with en's shift in role. the responsibilities remain the same, and with his experience, he is able to delegate his general work to younger interns
details regarding additional characters' relationship with en tba
• en's work with AKATSUKI goes smoothly— everything stays professional, en ensuring that none of his past with AKATSUKI's leader, keito, influences how he acts during work.
• keito's view on en shift's dramatically, however— the most significant change taking place during a staff dinner event. everyone is tasked to do a performance, pre-existing idols not included. very few people are aware of en's idol training, having only known him tor graduating under the producer program. keito himself had only seen en perform sparingly in high school, so en's arrival on stage is entirely unexpected.
• adorned beautifully in a mix of japanese and desi dress, en performs a self produced song for everyone. not a single soul is left un-charmed, and keito himself finds himself captivated far more than he expects it.
• following his performance, en returns to sit with rei, keito, nazuna, and kuro. just a few moments next to en has keito's heart clenching in a way that he isn't all too used to...

chance
• keito and en find themselves working rather late at the company. upon completion of their tasks, keito offers to walk en home, not having it in his conscious to let him walk alone even if he argues he'll be okay on his own. after some hesitation, en gives in and accepts, the two walking side by side towards en's apartment. the walk is a little awkward, but not uncomfortable— there's a familiarity that they both share.
• as they reach en's apartment, keito getting ready to turn around and head back to the dorms, en stops him.
"hasumin, do ya like curry?"
• met with a confused reaction, en explains himself— he'd just remembered that he'd made too much curry, and he worries it'll spoil if he leaves it another night. before keito can decline his offer, his stomach betrays him, and soon en has him ushered inside for a generous serving of warm, spicy desi-style curry.
• their sudden dinner plan turns to keito spending the night. informing the other dorm heads is a bit of a hassle, but eventually he's given the pass. somehow it's not awkward— in fact, both of them find themselves enjoying their time together, falling asleep in the living room while reading through en's childhood manga collection.
• it becomes some-what of a routine for keito to walk en home on late work days, and for en to bring him inside for a warm meal. very rarely will keito head back to the dorms after, the two turning a simple dinner plan into some sort of sleepover. the joys of their shared youth return in these moments, nothing but joy in each others' presence between them.
• en does his best to keep any lingering feelings down, not wanting to ruin the sweet bond that was just now mending itself between keito and him. the same could not be said about keito, though, who seeks out a bit more... but his restraint rarely wavers, doing his hardest to resist making any additional move.

push and pull
• while en isn't someone to pick up on cues very well, he's not entirely dense. he doesn't miss the ways in which keito seeks him out a little more than he would in the past, the ways that he'd make time to meet with en despite having such a busy schedule. regardless, he does his best to maintain things as platonic, though many may argue that cuddling up to sleep after staying up talking about shoujo manga may not be the most platonic...
• keito doesn't necessarily hide his affections towards en, majority of his circle actually taking note of his liking towards en and even offering to set them up so things can bloom further (keito will always deny, even if his heart wishes not to). it's not clear to him where he stands with en, aware that their past may have tainted keito's person in en's narrative, but he still does his best to show that things have changed, that en's value to him has exponentially increased.
• it takes nearly a year for keito to come to solid terms with his romantic feelings towards en. it's a hefty risk, so many factors to consider if he chooses to act on his desires, but he's human— while his responsibilities as an idol must be considered, keito allows himself to believe that indulging a little in something like this cannot hurt him.
• another dinner 'date' with en allows him the opportunity to bring everything up.

• after careful discussion with en, the two decide to see each other, thus starting their romantic relationship.
